Carrie Gaffney: Learning for Justice - Social Justice Standards (2:00 - 3:00 PM EST)
Carrie is a trained provider of the social justice standards and a long time writer and English teacher. The Social Justice Standards are a road map for anti-bias education at every stage of K-12 instruction. Comprised of anchor standards and age-appropriate learning outcomes, the standards provide a common language and organizational structure educators can use to guide curriculum development and make schools more just and equitable. Participants will learn about the four domains: identity, diversity, justice and action (IDJA) and how to implement the tools at an individual, group, and school-wide level.This is1 CEU.
You must stay for the duration of the presentation and complete the evaluation at the end to receive a CEU. This presentation will only be available live, there will be no option for you to watch a recorded version later for a CEU.
