Michelle Bulington: Youth Suicide Prevention School Perspective (11:00 AM-12:15 PM EST)
Join the "Youth Suicide Prevention: School Perspective" Summer Speaker Series to learn what components encompass a comprehensive approach to suicide prevention in schools including an overview of national and state level youth mental health and suicide data, approaches for engaging the whole school, safety planning demonstration, and resources and mental health programming for schools. Acquire skills to utilize safety planning to engage with loved ones, school administrations, and other professionals. Feel confident and gain a better understanding for how to support youth after returning to school after a suicide attempt or disclosing suicidal ideation. This is 1.25 CEUs.
You must stay for the duration of the presentation and complete the evaluation at the end to receive a CEU. This presentation will only be available live, there will be no option for you to watch a recorded version later for a CEU.
