Midwest School Social Work Conference: Indiana Board Member Rate

The Indiana School Social Work Association (INSSWA) is excited to host the Midwest School Social Work Conference this November 2nd-4th at the Renaissance Hotel located in Carmel, IN. The conference is entitled RechargINg, RisINg Up, and ReachINg Out and we have amazing keynote and workshop sessions to help enhance your school social work practice! A pre-conference welcoming event will be held on Wednesday November 2nd followed by conference content on Thursday November 3rd and Friday November 4th. Schedule at a Glance: 

• RechargINg Ourselves: Free pre-conference celebration of social workers Wednesday, November 2, 2022 5:00pm – 8:00pm: Join us to celebrate school social workers! This free event will be held at the hotel and allow for social workers to mingle. This event will include food stations, winery/brewery samples, cash bar, boutiques, art work, and entertainment!

• RisINg Up: Together We Learn, Thursday, November 3, 2022 8:30am – 4:30pm Keynote Speaker: Popular social/emotional learning author and former educator Julia Cook will present two keynotes entitled "Joy: It's an Inside Job"and "I Need a Large Re-Charge". 

• Midwest Council Awards Banquet: Thursday, November 3, 2022, 6:00pm Presentation of the School Social Workers of the Year in the various Midwest States includes a plated dinner.  Cost is 40 dollars per person.
• ReachINg Out: Bringing Our Passion to Our Communities, Friday, November 4^th, 2022 8:30am-4:30pm Keynote Speaker: Best selling author Horacio Sanchez brings the audience concrete information and interventions on how to help our economically disadvantaged families.

All registration is online and can be made via credit card or the invoice me option can be selected.  If the invoice me option is selected,  you will receive a copy of the invoice that can be provided to your organization.   The organization responsible for payment will need to send a copy of the intent to pay or purchase order to our treasurer at insswatreasurer@gmail.com and remit payment to INSSWA, PO BOX 36826, Indianapolis, IN 46236 if they plan to pay at a later date or after the completion of the conference.
